Manager, IT Operations
Bluefly.com, a leading online merchant offering top designer and name brand apparel and accessories at a value, is seeking a Manager, IT Operations to join our Technology Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant environment that fuses the dynamic worlds of technology, fashion, and the Internet.
This hands-on technical management position will report to the Vice President of Technology and will be a part of the Technology management team. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, with a solid background in networking engineering, security and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
•Provide technical leadership in the area of network engineering and security
•Design and implement a fault tolerant and scalable network infrastructure serving the enterprise
•Take ownership of the disaster recovery program and continue to make improvements to the plan
•Provide 24x7 support for system related issues and work to identify problems and resolve them
•Manage corporate IT team, responsible for supporting Linux, Mac and Microsoft desktops/laptops and user access to corporate network and applications both on the network as well as through remote VPN access.
•Coordinate and troubleshoot corporate services such as telephony, video conferencing, remote access and mobile.
•Adjust quickly to changing priorities and make quick decisions with limited information.
Skills/Experience
•Bachelors degree and 5+ years of network engineering and security for an internet property
•Experience as a tech lead or manager in Operations or IT
•Experience in all computing environments: Linux, Mac and PC
•Experience with Cisco routers and switches
•Experience with Juniper firewalls
•Experience with compliance programs, specifically PCI and SOX
•Experience in developing, measuring and understanding operational metrics
•Comfortable working in a fast-paced 24/7/365 operation that is rapidly growing both in terms of people & scale
