Job Description
Bluefly, Inc., a leading online retailer of designer fashion, has a position available for an Art Director of on-figure production photography. We are looking for a candidate with a great eye for fashion, as well as strong leadership and organizations skills. This position will report to the Director of Production & Photography Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all on-figure production photo shoots: lead a team of photographers, photo techs, stylists, hair/makeup artists and models to produce high-volume, on-figure photo shoots
• Maintain high quality of photography, styling and model attitude, and ensure brand guidelines are being met
• Work with Producer to manage shoot schedule and book photo shoot teams and cast models
• Edit photography an ensure best selects appear onsite
• Keep photos shoots running on time and stay on top of shoot calendar requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years experience art directing fashion photography, ideally in a production setting
• Knowledge of the production photography process
• Ability to build and lead a photo crew
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work across departments in order to run shoots as efficiently and affectively as possible
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite
