Position Summary:
The Role:
The Red Hat Platform Business Unit is seeking a driven, hands-on, senior-level Product Marketing Director that possesses strong business leadership skills and is capable of leading and delivering results within a cross-functional matrix organization. Candidates for this role must also have the experience developing successful strategies and executing inbound and outbound marketing initiatives. Will serve as a member of the business unit leadership team.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Superb product marketing experience with complex product lines for the enterprise infrastructure or enterprise software arena and ideally with a global company with revenues of 100M+.
• Manage and lead a marketing team that works upstream with product management and downstream with go to market functions within the company including field and partner organizations.
• Lead product positioning, messaging, and collateral development plans for all audiences.
• Operationalize plans with an end to end view across all functions of the company.
• Develop insightful market analysis to influence product strategy, pricing, and target market goals.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing Management for a business of 100M+
• Must have demonstrated business, product positioning, and marketing acumen in developing programs and a track record of driving successful results
• Outstanding communication skills
• BS Required and MBA from top 25 school preferred
• Solid Linux and Open Source skills are very desirable
• Willing to relocate to the Westford, MA area
