Bruins Remote Production Intern
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Provide a variety of production support to NESN’s Boston Bruins remote productions.
Working with the Director and Producer of Bruins Hockey, provide support to the remote production team which produces Bruins Hockey
Log High Definition highlight tapes
Enter time code & highlight information into the database
Dub video highlights to DVD
Assist Producers, Directors and Associate Producers with broadcast research
Research and Edit historical flashbacks
Attend Bruins Rookie Camp and assist in conducting interviews and shooting video of the Bruins Rookie Camp in July
Other related tasks as assigned and needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to receive college credit for this internship and provide verification that credit will be received
Knowledgeable about the game of hockey (NHL & College)
Interest in television production and communications
Excellent organizational skills and must be detail oriented
Ability to be successful working in a fast paced, loosely structured environment
Good communication skills
Must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision but also able to work effectively within a team environment
